This "We the People" petition wh.gov seeks to get the Obama administration to address Organ Harvesting in China. Organ Harvesting was the subject of a US Congressional hearing on September 12, 2012, which was followed by a bipartisan letter asking the US State Department to reveal what they know. But so far, neither the State Department nor the Obama administration has made any public statement on the matter—which could potentially involve tens of thousands of victims. The official silence prompted three American doctors to launch a nationwide petition using the White House's "We the People" initiative. AIDS sufferers from Henan province say their pleas for help are ignored, even as Chinese leaders tout their efforts to combat the disease on World AIDS Day on Saturday December 1st.
