Barack Obama Ohio Rally Speech Nov 2, 2012 On Monday (11/5), the day before Election day, Barack Obama will wrap up his campaign with a couple rallies, for which he'll be joined by Jay-Z and Bruce Springsteen in Columbus, OH. Both artists will perform and Jay will introduce Obama before his speech. Bruce will also perform at Obama's final rally in Des Moines, Iowa (via Washington Post). As mentioned, Bruce played the Rochester Blue Cross Arena on Wednesday (10/31) (postponed from Tuesday due to Hurricane Sandy), and while on stage he dedicated "My City of Ruins" to Asbury Park (his hometown) due to the damage it faced during the hurricane. You can check out the setlist from that show (which also included a cover of "Monster Mash," since it was Halloween after all) and videos of Bruce giving a speech about Hurricane Sandy before playing "My City of Ruins" and the "Monster Mash" cover. You can also read about the show at this Notes From The Road post on Bruce's website. Author: ForyourInfoM Duration: 10:33

In keeping with Barack Obama's presidential campaign promise, the US has withdrawn its troops from Iraq and by the end of 2012 US spending in Iraq will be just five per cent of what it was at its peak in 2008. In a special two-part series, Fault Lines travels across Iraq to take the pulse of a country and its people after nine years of foreign occupation and nation-building. Now that US troops have left, how are Iraqis overcoming the legacy of violence and toxic remains of the US-led occupation, and the sectarian war it ignited? Is the country on the brink of irreparable fragmentation? Correspondent Sebastian Walker first went to Baghdad in June 2003 and spent the next several years reporting un-embedded from Iraq. In the second part of this Fault Lines series, he returns and travels from Erbil to Fallujah to find out what kind of future Iraqis are forging for themselves. After almost a decade the US war in Iraq is over. From Basra to Baghdad a new balance of power has emerged, but many people are living in precarity. In the second part of the special series Fault Lines continues on a journey across Iraq from South to North, to take the pulse of a country and its people after the Americans. Featuring: Atheel Al-Nujaifi, Dr. Samira Alaani, Ahmet Yazal, Arsalan Baez, Hussain al-Shahristani, Tariq Al-Hashimi, Ali Dabbagh, and Saleh al-Mutlaq.
