"A 20-year-old Westminster man who authorities say plotted to kill President Barack Obama and shoot children at a Standley Lake High School Halloween event remained jailed Wednesday pending a Friday detention hearing in federal court. Mitchell Kusick told his therapist he stole a rifle from a relative's home that he was planning to use to kill children and hoped for a gun battle with police, according to federal court documents unsealed this week.
