Congress doesn't care about the unemployment?

With the 2012 elections coming up in November, the economy seems to be on everybody's mind. Senators claim they want to focus on jobs, but lawmakers have already gone on their summer break and have taken little action in the creation of jobs and stimulating the economy in the last couple years. Nixon's downfall wasn't the break in, it was the cover up. The Republicans haven't learned anything since the 1970's. The only thing Mitt Romney has an answer for and hasn't changed his mind about is releasing his tax returns. So far he's only released one incomplete return for 2010 and an estimate for 2011. That's it - he simply refuses to do any more - period. If he was being considered for a cabinet position, he would be disqualified And he's running for president! How many times have you heard someone say "if you're not doing anything wrong and have nothing to hide, what are you worried about?" Harry Reid has said sources at Bain Capital told him that Mitt Romney hasn't paid any taxes in 10 years. Harry Reid isn't an insane conspiracy nut like Michele Bachmann -- if he says he has sources, you can bet the bank he does. Of course Romney is having a hissy fit about this because of how unacceptable it is to just say something without backing it up with facts. Romney's top adviser Eric Fehrnstrom asked Harry Reid: "Have you no decency, sir?" So the Romney campaign is comparing Harry Reid to Joe McCarthy? Seriously? Don't forget it was his party that lied about WMD's in Iraq - it was his party that claimed the Iraq war would only last a couple of weeks - it was his party that claimed the Iraq war would pay for itself - it was his party that announced "Mission Accomplished" 8 years before it actually was! It was his party that fear mongered incessantly about Barack Obama <b>...</b>

Twelve dead, dozens more wounded. The source of this carnage? A super-genius neuroscience graduate student by the name of James Eagan Holmes. His college ID photo was splashed across the airwaves and America began spewing a unified hatred for this madman. It seemed like a replay of the film 1984's Two-Minutes Hate, in which the superstate Oceania were as one in a frenzied hatred of the arch-fiend, Emmanuel Goldstein. BIG BROTHER ISN'T WATCHING YOU, HE'S SPINNING THE TRUTH. Except there were rumblings from the proles watching the media spin the carnage like a spinoff to The Dark Knight Rises. Right on cue before the bodies were even cold Obama and his surrogates in the media were calling for gun control. Right on cue the UN was voting on the Small Arms Treaty that would eventually nullify the Second Amendment. We were told that James Holmes was a lone wolf, despite the police dispatch and witnesses stating the contrary. We were told that James Holmes' college ID photo did not match the "Joker" James Holmes because faces changed over time. Noses, too? Maybe Holmes had a nose job on his way to the jail. The man that was presented to us during the preliminary hearing, who looked more like someone who had a lobotomy than someone who methodically and precisely planned the massacre for <b>...</b>
